Our 6 week Beginner's Course is designed to make you feel confident, excited and empowered in your yoga practice.


A beginner's course is a fantastic way to start your practice and to discover yoga in a safe and fun space. Over 6 weeks this course offers a supportive environment for complete beginners or those that would benefit from going back to basics. 

The class is slower-paced,
 and includes breathing and relaxation techniques to help bring better balance to a busy life. It can be used to build confidence and provide a foundation from which you can begin to explore the other classes on offer at Yoga Quota.

As with most yoga teachers my journey began at a fairly stressful time in my life. I was studying hard at drama school and all of the pressure from the course was starting to beat me down. I was feeling low, my entire body hurt and I had lost my spark. After reading about how yoga helps to reduce stress I nervously dragged myself to my first class.

​Fast-forward seven years and after a big career change and lots of yoga teacher trainings all around the world, I am on a mission to spread the word – yoga is magical! You don't need a studio, fancy yoga gear or even to be flexible to do yoga. It is for EVERYbody.

Course Dates & Time

Our beginner's course is held on Monday nights from 8:30-9:30pm in our Oxford studio.

Upcoming course dates:
  • 12 February - 19 March 2018​
  • 23 April - 11 June 2018 (no classes Early May Bank Holiday 7 May 2018, or Spring Bank Holiday 28 May 2018)​

If you can't make a class, no worries! You're able to catch up the next time the course is run.
